We’re a little less than a month away from the sophomore album of Roc Nation‘s J.Cole and today he lets go of his album cover(s). Above is the deluxe edition of the album cover and after the jump you can view the regular version of the album cover. J.Cole also broke down the thought process and meaning of the album cover(s) with MTV, you can view that below. Born Sinner has also been pushed up to June 18th instead of the 25th.
”It’s not necessarily a church theme and it’s not really about church. I like my album themes to be metaphors because it gives me the freedom to speak about something else that’s going on in my life, so the Born Sinner thing is not about church, it’s not even about religion. It’s using that as canvas to get other messages across and that’s what the album will be.”
Now calm down before we start this J. Cole had a demon on his album cover , plus 7 lines on the album cover , + yellow font equals Illuminati talk , I know it is creepy as all hell! I am feeling this music though ,BUT do you thin artist are pushing the bar by involving religion symbols and images, or do you think they are wearing tin foil panties in an thunder and lightning storm! Me I don’t play with God or anything else related to religion because I like my life ! Let us know because #IMRAPPEDOUT….SHAWTY!
