Take a look at how these Bombshells brought the 90′s back:
Former Bombshell Mari from New York posted this pic on her blog ADashofFlair.com, rocking a piping hot denim on denim look, uplifted by a colorful clutch. Work!
Stephanie from the blog Chocolate Laced uplifted modern H&M black pants and ASOS shoes with this colorful thrifted top.
Nichole of NicholeAlabi.com stays styling, and thus sent in the above. She wrote, “Designer labels as street wear was an awesome trend in the 90′s and one of the breakout looks of this 90′s Revival Trend. If you cant get your hands on a true vintage piece or don’t want to spend the bucks on the re-issues like the DKNY/Opening Ceremony collaboration try thrifting! I found this men’s DKNY athletic top at my favorite thrift store, took off about 8″, added an elastic band, and made a sporty crop top! I paired it with some American Apparel Riding Pants, Nine West Heeled Hiking Boots, and some gold jewelry. The look was all 90s everything!” Love it!
The owner of E-store OldSchoolRulez sent in this outfit, consisting of a Ralph Lauren Sport button-up, Lee high waisted shorts, and an Esprit coin purse. Of course you can purchase everything at her online boutique here.
Adebola sent in this pic to demonstrate cropped tops, though I think the shirt’s bold lettering can double for a 90′s take, no?
Lastly, Jaz of @ILoveJazzz went a bit subdued in Salvation Army separates and Urban Outfitters boots.I could see Queen Latifah a.k.a Khadijah James rocking that on Living Single, no?
At any rate, there you have it!
The next few Spring trends–white pumps, ruffles, check prints–might be a little more difficult to swing…but we know you can do it! If you think you did ‘em justice, send your flix to email@example.com to be included in our next How Do You Wear It? feature.
What did you think of this week’s options?
*I spied this image of an anonymous fashionisto on Tumblr:
See, guys can rock it, too!
